Clear answers before you commit.

How we scope software projects, structure milestones, handle intellectual property and maintain applications across Australia.

Project Scoping & Commercials

How engagements are structured, estimated and scheduled before development starts.

A short written summary or bullet list is plenty to begin. We run a structured discovery session to clarify user roles, core workflows, integrations and priorities, then turn that into a written scope and milestone plan before any build commitment.

Both. When requirements are well-defined—such as a marketing website, API integration or scoped MVP—we provide fixed-price milestone proposals. For evolving product roadmaps or ongoing engineering support, we also offer predictable sprint retainers.

A custom marketing website typically takes 4 to 6 weeks from discovery to launch. Focused web or mobile application MVPs commonly run 8 to 14 weeks depending on integrations, user roles and compliance testing.

Upon payment of agreed project milestones, custom code, designs and documentation created specifically for your project are assigned to your organisation in accordance with your Statement of Work, with clean repository access and deployment documentation.

Engineering, Design & Delivery

Our technical stack, quality assurance practices and collaboration cadence.

We deploy working increments to a private staging URL every week or fortnight. You can click through real features in your browser or test builds on your phone, review written release notes and give feedback early.

For web frontends and websites we primarily use TypeScript, React and Next.js. For backend services and APIs we work with Node.js/TypeScript, Go and Python, paired with PostgreSQL, Redis and Australian cloud infrastructure on AWS (ap-southeast-2 / ap-southeast-4) or Azure Australia.

Yes. We regularly connect custom applications with Xero, MYOB, Stripe, HubSpot, Salesforce, Shopify, inventory platforms and internal legacy databases using typed APIs, webhooks and idempotent sync queues.

Yes. Every user-facing project includes information architecture, wireframes and interactive UI prototypes so your stakeholders can validate journeys, mobile responsiveness and accessibility before full engineering.

Security, Hosting & Maintenance

Data residency, Australian privacy considerations and post-launch support.

Yes. Where Australian data residency and low local latency are priorities, we provision cloud environments in Sydney or Melbourne regions on AWS or Microsoft Azure with encrypted backups and environment isolation.

We apply role-based access control, input validation, parameterised database queries, encrypted secrets management, automated dependency vulnerability scanning and privacy-by-design practices aligned with the Australian Privacy Principles.

Every launch includes a handover runbook, post-launch warranty window for defect resolution and optional Software Maintenance and Upgrades plans covering OS/framework patching, uptime monitoring and iterative feature enhancements.

Yes. We begin with a structured code, database and infrastructure audit—identifying security risks, deployment bottlenecks and technical debt—so you have a realistic remediation and upgrade plan before ongoing work begins.
